Nearly 30 people attended the Bison Day on the Land at Raymond Wildlife Area on Sunday, December 10!

After a short film, Shelly Shepherd gave a slideshow presentation on the history, purpose, and future of Ryamond Wildlife Area, and some biological and cultural history of bison.

The mission of the AZ Game & Fish Department (and two awesome buffalo skulls).

Most of the group were Diablo Trust "old timers," but there were a few new folks in the room!

We drove down the road a bit to see the herd, with spotting scopes and binoculars.

The herd was too far from the fence to see clearly, but with a scope we got a good look!
