This year’s campout, co-hosted with the AZ Section of the Society of Range Management, blends expert-led field workshops with community connection, food, and fun — all set against the backdrop of Arizona’s working landscapes. Whether you're a rangeland professional, conservation partner, or curious newcomer, there’s something for everyone at Ashurst Run. Don’t forget to register!
Location & Getting There
This year’s campout will take place at beautiful Ashurst Run (map). Expect a few miles of dirt road travel before reaching the private property. The road is currently in good condition and passable by most passenger vehicles. Please note: low-hanging branches along the road may present challenges for high-clearance RVs and trailers.

What to Bring & How to Contribute
We’ll send a full packing list soon, but here are a few things to keep in mind:
Meals: To help cover costs, we kindly ask for a $15 donation per person per dinner (Friday and/or Saturday). For Saturday’s dinner, please bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share.
Fun: We’ll have downtime for games and music — please bring your instruments and favorite outdoor games!
