Day on the Land:
Rangeland Monitoring & Juniper Treatments on the Flying M
Join Diablo Trust, Flying M, and Andrew Jones of the Arizona Game and Fish Department for a Day on the Land at the Flying M Ranch. We'll tag along for this year's FRSG (Forage Resource Study Group) monitoring, a short visit to three long-term plots that track how the range is responding over time. Afterward, we'll tour the Melbourne project, a juniper treatment completed last year, to see progress on grassland restoration efforts. We'll finish at an area slated for juniper mastication this coming year and talk through why we chose it and what the work aims to accomplish.
Carpooling is encouraged. Please RSVP to info@diablotrust.org so we can plan for vehicles.
