This year’s campout is scheduled for August 15th - August 16th and will be hosted at Flying M Ranch at Ashurst Run, just outside of Flagstaff (map).

Day 1: Saturday, August 15th

• 11AM Gates Open

• 11AM - 1PM: Settle In

• 1PM: Field Visit to Pine Hill - Post-Fire Recovery One Year Later

• 2:30PM: Celebrate & Get to Know Your Rangelands - Presentation and Activities with University of AZ Cooperative Extension

• 4:30PM: Happy Hour & Evening Presentations

• 6:00PM: Dinner - Enchiladas catered AZ Sunshine Kitchen (beef donated by Diablo Beef)

  • Please bring a dessert or side dish to share!

• 7:00PM: Silent Auction Winners & Evening Activities

Day 2: Sunday, August 16th

• 7:00AM: Pancake Breakfast in Honor of Jack Metzger

• 8:00AM: Campout Programming Concludes

• 9:00AM-11:00AM:

  • Bring stories and memories of Jack to share.

  • Open to family, friends, and the Diablo Trust community.

  • Light refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own chair.
