Celebrating the Life of Jack Metzger

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jack Metzger, a founding member of Diablo Trust and a lifelong steward of the Flying M Ranch. Jack helped lay the groundwork for the collaborative, working-lands approach to conservation that continues to guide Diablo Trust today. His voice, humor, and fierce dedication to ranching and the land will be deeply missed.

We invite you to join Jack's family and the entire Diablo Trust community for a Celebration of Life, held directly following our Annual Campout (August 15-16, open to all - learn more at diablotrust.org/calendar).

When: Sunday, August 16 | 9–11 AM (following the Annual Campout)
Where: Ashurst Run, Flying M Ranch

Directions from Flagstaff:

• Head south on Forest Highway 3/Lake Mary Road (about 30 miles), watching for the Kinnikinick Lake Road sign

• Turn left onto Forest Road 125/Kinnikinick Lake Road

• Continue about 1.5 miles down Forest Road 125, watching for Diablo Trust signs
