 Ian Harrison, Freshwater Specialist with the Moore Center for Science at  Conservation International and Technical Officer to the Global Chair with the IUCN-SSC/Wetlands International Freshwater Fish Specialist Group, was our first presenter of the View fullsize
 Ian spoke about global freshwater concerns, including endangered species, freshwater useage and pollution, and conservation efforts. View fullsize
 We had a short Q&A session after each speaker. Most of the questions for Ian were about endangered species, and water use (and waste) around the world. View fullsize
 Next was Shelly Shepherd, the Information and Education Program Manager with the  AZ Game and Fish Department Flagstaff . View fullsize
 Shelly, being based in Flagstaff, spoke primarily about how much money was generated from outdoor recreation, ranging from hunting and angling to backpacking and bird-watching. View fullsize
 Shelly also spoke about the use numbers from those activities; far more people participate in non-hunting or angling activities, but more money is generated for conservation efforts by the hunters and anglers.  View fullsize
 In this Q&A, people asked about what non-hunters could do to contribute to conservation efforts (buy a decal or license plate). View fullsize
 We got a visit from  Sheila , a cowgal on the Flying M, and her working dogs! View fullsize
 We weren't right next to the lakeside, but close enough! View fullsize

 Our final featured presenter was Scott Rogers, Fisheries Program Manager with the  AZ Game and Fish Department Flagstaff . He was even more focused than Shelly, speaking directly about fish and fishing in northern Arizona. View fullsize
 Scott described some projects being proposed to enhance the habitat in various lakes for fish, and how he and his team decides to stock each lake. View fullsize

 After lunch, Steve Cassady, Landowner Relations Specialist with  AZ Game and Fish Department Flagstaff , spoke about his work, the Compact Agreement on the ranches, and other programs for land and resource users on the public and private lands in no View fullsize

 Next was Hymer, manager of the Raymond Wildlife Area, the AZ Game & Fish Department's bison ranch located east of Flagstaff. He gave a brief update on the goings-on of the WA and plans for the future. View fullsize

 Our final speaker was  Kit Metzger , boss of the Flying M Ranch, who told some ranch history, especially about Anderson Mesa and Kinnikinick Lake.  View fullsize
